Our kitchen table was looking a little bare, so I decided to make a couple of placemats for it using the scrap fabric I keep around. I found a pattern I liked here and got to work picking out the color combinations I liked. It only took me a couple of days to put these bad boys together and I think they are so fun! I tried my best to blend rustic elements with pops of color to really make a statement.
This ended up being a very easy pattern to follow as the pictures were very well laid out and detailed, so I didn’t run into any confusion in the middle of these thinking, “What the heck is she talking about?!” This was a really fun way to dip my toe into the quilting world, and I love the texture they add to my table.
*These are the photos from my original post. My table wasn’t finished out yet, and we are now in a brand new house! I have since added a couple more placemats to the lineup.
I love the warmth and texture they add to my table and with fall just around the corner, it was time for me to bring these out again. What have you guys been using to add a touch of fall decor to your homes?
