This is a recipe of my husbands invention. He always cooked this in college with his buddies.
- 1 box Family Size Velveeta Shells and Cheese
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 16 oz jar hot sauce
Cook the mac’n’cheese according the instructions on the box. Be sure you salt the water for your pasta well. Meanwhile, cook your ground meat in a skillet over medium-high heat and season according to your tastes. (I like to add salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder). Set aside once its done cooking. Once your shells are done, drain them and add them back to the pot you cooked them in. Add in the cheese packet, ground beef and hot sauce and stir it all together. Now you have a very easy and kid friendly meal. Enjoy y’all!
