Easy Lemon and Garlic Tilapia Bake

Want an easy 30 minute Rachel Ray style meal? And zero cleanup? Here we go. This is such an awesome meal, especially if you’re crunched for time and don’t know what to do for dinner. You can thaw the filets in less than 10 minutes in some hot water (nifty, right?!)

Easy Lemon and Garlic Tilapia Bake

  • 4 tilapia filets
  • 4-6 tsp lemon pepper
  • 4 tsp rosemary-garlic seasoning (I don’t know how common this is, but measuring 2 tsp of rosemary and 2 tsp of garlic powder should give you the same results)
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

(These measurements are all approximate as I do not usually measure when I’m cooking)

Preheat oven to 325 F. Lay out two strips of foil and then put the tilapia on them. Sprinkle both sides with the seasonings and then drizzle with olive oil. Once you’ve done that, tear off another strip of foil and wrap up the tilapia.

Bake for 15 minutes and then you have a fabulous entree that took you less than 30 minutes to prepare! Doesn’t this look delicious?!

You can make the meal complete by steaming some fresh or frozen veggies (I like to do my mine in those handy-dandy Ziplock steamer bags) and you can make baked potatoes in less than 15 minutes by poking some holes in them, wrapping them in saran wrap and microwaving them for about 10-15 minutes until they’re soft. If you don’t like plain veggies, I’ve found that putting garlic salt and italian seasonings on them gives them really good flavor. Enjoy y’all!
